Teacup 2 - SOLD

Teacup 2
Oil on Canvas Panel, 6" x 8"
SOLD.

Another version of the Country Rose pattern in a teacup and saucer.
I put tea in it this time.

Snow Shadows - SOLD

Snow Shadows
Acrylic on Canvas Panel, 12" x 12"
SOLD.

This is what we did today, my private student and I.
I thought her's turned out wonderfully (good job, KB.)
The shadows on the snow are actually a different blue (cobalt) than the sky (cerulean), though they look the same here on my monitor. Maybe yours too.

Teacup One - SOLD

Teacup One
Oil on Canvas Panel, 6" x 8"
SOLD.

This little teacup is my first attempt at painting a quite lovely set that one of my collectors sent me.(Thanks again, LP.) I was surprised that it came out as well as it did. Okay, I know it's a little wonky, but I'll do this cup and saucer again, with a more careful drawing to start out.

Autumn Light

Autumn Light
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 16" x 20"
Available.

This is the first time I've used my photo reference for this one, and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome.
This is a larger painting, so with all the color, it does have some "presence" and I think a fairly nice mood to it, with the strong afternoon sunlight and shadow. I will certainly be doing this one again.
