October Morning Glories - NA

October Morning Glories
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 9" x 12"
Revised on 10/24/2012

This one has a graphic look to it, doesn't it?
There are actually two kinds of Morning Glories blooming right now on my back fence, the "regular" kind and a smaller, more purple one. Just lovely!

Sunflower Bunch- SOLD

Sunflower Bunch
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 16" x 20"
SOLD

Details (Close ups) Below:

A big, happy bunch of sunflowers. So cheerful. This one I still had from March, when it had two jars. I painted a new, center jar, eliminated the other two jars, added a couple of blooms, and repainted the background. The background is actually a very subtle, lavender grey, gradated darker at the bottom.
Happy, isn't it?

Around the Bend Two - SOLD

Around the Bend Two
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 16" x 20"
SOLD.

This one has a bit of a history. It used to be a waterfall, repainted three times. Then yesterday I took a razor knife and scraped much of the old paint off. In the process, I made a small slice in the canvas, about 1/4" near the bottom. It's been patched with new paint (and you probably would have to really search to find it.)

It's a second version of the one I did day before yesterday (see post below this one) for a collector who really liked that one, but this one not so much. This does have a lot of texture, because of the paint underneath. Hence, the lower price.
